Divorce Music is the ultimate break-up album the perfect gift for a friend, relative or colleague going through a divorce.
Following its successful predecessor, the top-selling album Classical Wedding Music, this new release will have you grooving to the beat at your next divorce party. Celebrate the ups and downs of divorce hormones with music that goes from laugh-out-loud funny to sad and tearful. You don't even have to be divorced to enjoy this beauty: include it in your pre-nup, or purchase our Classical Wedding Music album in the closet, just in case.
Performed by Lumiere String Quartet, all but two of the tracks were arranged by Robert Paterson, winner of numerous awards, including Composer of the Year award from the Classical Recording Foundation.
Members of the Lumiere String Quartet have the unique gift of moving between multiple genres, seamlessly flowing from pop, rock and Broadway to country and classical. Their list of credits is extraordinary: Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer, Chris Botti, Harry Connick Jr., Rufus Wainwright, Josh Groban, Evanescence, Sinead O'Connor, Joss Stone, Pink Martini, K.D. Lang, Elvis Costello, Sarah Brightman, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Todd Rudgren, The Who, YES, and many more.
They are veterans of the Broadway scene in New York City: Wicked, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Sweet Charity, Cabaret, Chicago, Shrek, and many others. Victoria Paterson is the concertmaster for The Addams Family and co-founder of the American Modern Ensemble. Entcho Todorov is from Bulgaria and currently in The Book of Mormon.
